After a very high pressure semifinal home against Harrow (which we won 8-3, despite conceding first), we were in the final against Merchiston (and fortunately, this time with the whole squad to work with), and although we were tied 0-0 at HT that second half performance gave us a 7-0 win to remember. Our goalkeeper also somehow kept a clean sheet after deciding to play CDM for half of the half. TBH Merchiston defended really well while playing Conteball in the first half, and we were playing some combination of possession and laid-back football. There should've been a clear penalty when our striker was punched in the face in an aerial battle...but we have nobody at Stockley Park to save us. Then we realized that us on the ball was better than Merchiston off of it so we went all out Pep Guardiola and had some fun...the rest is history.
