Apple fans back in 2017 will remember this wallpaper:
(I did not have an iPhone back then, so I had no idea about this image until I did some googling)
Few people back then actually realized that this was a soap bubble. Now it's common knowledge in the tech world, but I think few people have actually tried to recreate this wallpaper. So I tried.
The bubble was made with dishwashing soap. A lamp was used to illuminate the bubble from above. The science behind it is due to thin-film refraction and I am too lazy to explain it here.
