Everyone hates it when this happens:
But here are my ways to fix it:
1. Retraction
Use retraction! It significantly decreases stringing.
2. Be violent
Use a knife and cut the strings. Easy.
3. Change the temperature
Experiment with different temperatures. Lower temperature usually means less stringing.
4. Print better models
Some models are designed to cause stringing. Some are designed to decrease it. Always go for the newer models.
5. Keep the filament dry,
PLA is prone to moisture absorption.
